Over the past few years we’ve experimented with various packaging in an attempt to reduce our plastic use and waste. Jars are heavy and while they’re recyclable, only a small fraction of the plastic is actually recycled. Recently, we’ve found a less plastic alternative within a dispenser tube format that some of our customer have been asking for. The new Smart Tube uses 90% less plastic vs. our traditional hard sided jar, while also providing a cleaner distribution and reduced chance of contaminants of the creams vs. our traditional open top jars. With no reaching in with your fingers, the Smart Pouch prevent contamination of bacteria, dirt and debris transferred from your fingers as you reach into the jar, enhancing the customers’ experience. The pouch design also will allow for safer sharing amongst teammates and friends, as well as avoiding the dreaded “double dipping”.
